In November 2023, a large-scale complex facility called "HANEDA INNOVATION CITY" (abbreviated as HICity) was established in Tokyo's Ota Ward, adjacent to Haneda Airport, which serves as Japan's gateway. This facility, with a total floor area exceeding 130,000 square meters, includes an advanced medical research center, research and development facilities, convention facilities, and more. Within HANEDA INNOVATION CITY, a new interdisciplinary research facility named "E-GIC HANEDA" has been opened, with a focus on exosome research. The facility aims to contribute to problem- solving in various fields such as healthcare, food, and the environment, by fostering collaboration with experts from different disciplines.

"HICity" serves as a showcase for the coexistence of eight advanced industry sectors and five cultural industry sectors, playing a role in disseminating information to both domestic and international audiences.




Leveraging the features of the needle-free jet injection system to shift the target area from a "point" to a "surface".
The needle-free jet injection system "Injex50" used in the EXOCURE subcutaneous administration therapy, as previously mentioned, is needleless and reduces the risks of pain and tissue necrosis, thus enabling home use and administration close to the target site. However, to meet individual treatment needs, further evolution is required, and we have been working on the development of a new system that truly targets the entire body as the site of administration. The new system, by limiting the dose per administration to approximately 0.03ml, further enhances the existing features and also makes it possible to treat the target area as a surface, rather than just a point.

1.Improved consistency of effects due to uniform drug delivery
By targeting the site as a surface and delivering the medication to the subcutaneous tissue, it is possible to achieve uniform drug delivery to the area targeted as a surface, which can improve the consistency of therapeutic effects.
2. Individually adjustable
By varying the interval of administration, the dosage of the medication can be adjusted, allowing for the establishment of an optimal treatment protocol tailored to the symptoms, which can lead to more efficient outcomes.
3. Pain reduction & decreased risk of tissue necrosis
By setting the jet to approximately 0.03ml, the system further enhances its previous characteristics. This allows for administration to areas that have not traditionally been targeted, such as the face and knees, regardless of the presence of bone, thus expanding the range of treatment.
4. Enhanced rapidity of effects due to improved absorption rate
Subcutaneous injections are originally characterized by slowly absorbing medication into the target site. However, by administering the drug over a surface, and thereby distributing it across a wider area of subcutaneous tissue simultaneously, absorption efficiency is enhanced, which also improves the rapidity of the drug's effects.
